LHS Horticulture Class

The Lebanon High School Horticulture Class is taking their first steps at using their new facility/greenhouse. They are preparing several different plants for May Market 2026 and learning about starting, maintaining and preparing for sale.
Under the watchful eye of their instructor, Justine Timmermann, with assistance from Dwayne Olson (Master Gardener) and Dr. Peggy Gerdes (Garden Club of Lebanon President), the students are learning what they can and cannot do in this wonderful new facility. Included in the garden club personnel assisting are Marsha and Terry Ernst.
The Garden Club of Lebanon is looking forward to continuing our assistance to the school for many years to come. We find it to be a wonderful experience watching the students learning and experimenting. It is amazing (and rewarding) the looks we see in the faces of the students as they get to work with the plants and soil.
They are great!
